Measurement and Installation: Measurement is taken from D ring to D ring, leaving 1.5 - 2 foot space for the hardware kit between the shade sail's D-ring and mounting points. When the installation area is AxB, you could consider axb. Rectangle, a≈88%A,b≈88%B, AxB (9'x12', 10'x11', 12'x15'...) eg. AxB =11.4'x14.8' but need to consider the axb≈10'x13'). Shade & Beyond shade sail accessories kit is recommended to prevent sagging after installation (Accessories kit not included).
